Intro to 3G and LTE Femto Gateway   NSN is betting on the future of Telecoms with Mobile Broadband. Our Small Cells team is working on the forefront of technology to drive NSN’s vision towards a bold reality. Small Cells will account for 80% of all base stations deployments in the years to come. The key drivers for the small cell deployment will be Increased Spectral Efficiency, Lowering Cost of Deployment, Enhanced User Experience – this apart from the Implicit Coverage & Capacity advantages. The Femto Gateway is the flagship product in the NSN Femto Solution. The full spectrum of product development starting from System Architecture , Entity Architecture, Development , All E2E and Performance tests, Trails and Pilots, System and Entity Programs is driven out of TC Bangalore. On the technology front we are developing the 3G (UMTS) and the 4G ( LTE) based Femto Gateway in parallel. Position -  Femto Gateway R&D Engineer Years of experience:  1 to 12years Job Grade -  6/7/8   Key Responsibilities:   No coordination – only core development work, Prototyping, Analysis, Design & Implementation of software components according to Requirement specification.
