Position- R&D (SLM) Manager
Years of experience:  10+ years
Job Grade - 9
 
Key Responsibilities:
·         Leads and manages R&D team, including performance management, competence development, induction, Compensation & Benefits etc.
·         Responsible for deliveries in his/her ownership areas including functional tests, L&S tests, automation and test efficiency/ improvement areas within delivery schedules with right quality.
Skills required :
·         R&D experience in testing various products with at least 1-2 years of line management experience.
·         Good exposure in the areas of functional test, performance tests, automation, O&M areas etc.
·         Ability to interact with other teams like Development, Customer teams, Architecture teams etc to drive areas of responsibility.
·         Technical working experience in Telecom domain specifically in VOIP/IMS areas.
·         Good understanding of the SDLC and agile test methodologies.
·         Self-motivated with good interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills.
·         Excellent problem solving/troubleshooting skills and  attention to detail.

Position -  Test Architect
Years of experience
10 – 16 years 
Job Grade- 9/10
 
Key Responsibilities:
·         Technical expert responsible for specifying, planning, reporting, designing, reviewing in his/her technical area (e.g. several features).
·         Continuous Improvement – Strategy, Processes & Tools
·         End to End technical ownership for NeVe.
·         Tools profiling & prototyping and improvement suggestions
·         First analysis and problem identification for customer issues
·         Effort estimation & timeframe for improvement proposals
·         Technical contribution to RCA (customer queries) as and when needed
·         Regular escape fault analysis & strengthening proposals
·         Support for requests for demos & enabling & determine basic feasibility.
·         Pro-active identification of improvement areas, tools, etc
·         Coaches other team members in solving complex engineering problems.
 
Skills required:
·         Experienced in testing of telecom/IP based products.
·         Good knowledge of test processes and tools.
·         Very Good knowledge of at least 2 of these areas - VOIP/IMS/SS7/GSM/UMTS/2.5G/3G networks.
·         Strong Experience working with Core Network equipment: MSC, Media Gateway, STP / Signaling Gateway, HLR and PCRF / PCC.
·         Strong Experience in Signaling and Control protocols (MTP, SCCP, ISUP, BSSAP, MAP, CAP, SIP, H.248, SCTP, SIGTRAN, BICC / H.323).
·         Experience in tracing tools (WireShark, IPDump,etc) and protocol analyzers (SIPp, Hammer, Spirent, Exfo, EAST etc)
·         Experience in planning, dimensioning, debugging and deployment of customer telecom networks is an advantage.
