NSN Openings for the following technologies  for Bangalore location

Position- WCDMA-BTS – R&D SPECIALIST/ENGINEER

Years of experience:  5 to 8yrs

Job Grade - 8

Key Responsibilities:

·         Be part of Agile Feature teams that develop solutions for the NSN WCDMA Base Station User Plane Base Band.

·          Besides developing the features, lead the team in developing documents, preparing test scenarios and test cases.

·         The Base Band development requires knowledge in Layer1 (Rake, Codec technologies) or Layer2 (MAC) technologies

·         Role requires candidates to develop and maintain Network Element applications for the User Plane.

·         Candidate is also expected to mentor new joinees and coach them on technical aspects

Skills required :

·         Excellent skills in C development with related tools like static analyzers (lint/klocworks), memory management and profiling tools (valgrind, gcov or equivalent).

·         Layer1 candidates need to have strong background in Physical Layer tools and techniques (like Coding/Encoding), MATLAB.

·         Layer2 candidates need to have strong background in Layer2 tools and techniques (Scheduling, Power Control, Resource management)

·         Excellent inter personal, communication skills

·         Ability to handle challenging work

Desirable

·         Excellent domain background in WCDMA/HSPA.

·         Excellent background in Testing technologies - test scripting (AHTI/Perl/Python), test specification

Basic Qualification for all positions-B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech

Position- SCM Engineer

Years of experience:  2 to 5yrs

Job Grade - 7

Key Responsibilities:

The applicant should have sound knowledge of SCM Processes, Build (packaging) and release. Prior experience in SCM area is preferred.

Skills required :

·         Minimum experience of 1 to 2 years in SCM VCS Tool administration (Clearcase, SVN and CVS).

·         Minimum experience of 1-2 years in Build and Release (build tools like make/ant)

·         Extensive experience in scripting (perl and shell)

·         Extensive experience in CI tools like Hudson

OS: Linux, SOLARIS and windows

·         Software Development experience in medium to large-scale projects

·         Has awareness of different SDLC and development methodologies like Agile, Iterative etc
