Position- R&D Test Engineer
Years of experience: 3 to 6years
Job Grade -7/8
Key Responsibilities:
· Overall responsibility of specified entities ( e.g. features). Plans, designs and executes items in own area.
· Coordinates activities within own responsibility area.
· Has developed specialist knowledge in one area.
· Coaches other team members in solving basic engineering problems.
· Solves complex engineering problems of own technology area.
· Typically participates in reviews of own or neighbouring projects.
· May undertake technical training responsibilities.
· He/She will be responsible for the release of CCB (Core Control Base) platform to applications - IMS, HLR, CBC.
Skills required :
· Serviceability aspects for ATCA/Sparc hardware on Solaris and Linux OS
· Test case identification
· Design and creation of test automation framework using any scripting language (Perl/Shell)
· Automation of test cases (preferably using Robot Framework)
· Debugging, raising faults and verification of the correction
· Root cause analysis of customer faults and provide process/project excellence ideas.
Additional Requirements:
3 to 5 years experience in the below mentioned areas
· Concepts like clustering/high availability
· SS7/sigtran protocols
· Basic knowledge about agile
