Position: SE/SSE/Tech Lead

Roles and Responsibilities
* Provide on-call support to the customers
* Understand the reported issues, urgencies, and expectations
* Troubleshoot issues reported by customer to identify the root cause of the issue and prepare RCA
* Adhere to support processes, release processes and defined SLAs
* Build knowledge base for the support related issues for the product
* Monitor product & its performance and make recommendations to resolve the performance related issues
* Participate in the product releases and perform testing on UAT/PROD during the release cycles.
* Manage time and set priorities for tasks
* Practice effective self†management
* Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
* Maintain professionalism, good attitude and appropriate behavior with personnel and clients.

Required Skills
* 3- 10 Years of Experience in Application Support.
* Must have troubleshooting knowledge/experience on Java and J2EE(In Product/ Application Support)
* Must have strong experience on SQL
* Should have experience in Linux, Tomcat, Apache and Web services
* Good to have knowledge in Shell Scripting
* Should have worked on any ticketing tools (preferably Remedy)
* Should have knowledge on deployment
* Should have knowledge/experience on Product Support
* Should have direct client facing experience
* Should have good communication and interpersonal skills
o Ability to perform presentations in a client setting
o Ability to comprehend written and verbal communication
* Responsible for providing technical support coverage during hours assigned (24/7)
* ITIL Certification preferred
* Good to have exposure in Installation/Configuration Web and Application Server(s)
* Ability to work as part of a team to get resolution to client issues
* Communicate effectively with both internal and external customers
* Present a professional image to the customer
* Understand the functionality of software applications, in context of client usage
* Taking ownership of technical issues, and working with our Development group to resolve more advanced issues when necessary
* Resolving escalated customer complaints without the need for team lead intervention
* Documenting troubleshooting and problem resolution steps
* Performing and coordinating effective installation and performance of advanced operating system hardware and software on servers.
* Install new software releases, system upgrades, evaluate and install patches and resolve software related problems
* Plan and perform appropriate procedures, documentation, inventory assessment, and other procedures related to IT
* Work with a team to automate management tasks, streamline processes and perform standard
* Administration functions as needed. Be responsible for managing the IT system to meet strategic goals.
* Maintain, monitor, analyze system components and make recommendations regarding computer system
