Responsible for working closely
with IS Architects and Business Analysts in analyzing business requirements and
implementing solutions for these requirements through system configuration,
development & support of enterprise Manufacturing systems.
Essential Duties &
Responsibilities -
· Assist
business analysts with user requirements analysis activities
· Assist
IS Architects in the solution designing to meet user requirements and ensure
execution of project per SDLC methodologies
· Assist
IS Architects in developing and maintaining technical architecture
documentation
· Review
technical specifications from Tech Lead/Business Analysts for feasibility and
architectural “fit”
· Assist
with the development of test scripts and executing test cases as appropriate
and necessary
· Divide
feature requests into granular tasks and provide task time estimates
· Utilize
source control policies and procedures to maintain the integrity of development
efforts
· Author
technical documentation and specifications from requirements/functional
specifications for interfaces in scope
· Write
code to implement architecture as agreed upon with IS Architects alongside
performing simple to advanced system configuration tasks
· Follow
Stryker IS procedures, policies, standards, appropriate regulatory
requirements, and data privacy guidelines
· Participate
in technical reviews and meetings as required
· Develop
deep technical understanding of software platforms in scope and resolve
escalated technical issues as needed
· Provide
necessary support in troubleshooting code related issues
· Ensure
custom code and interfaces have necessary controls built in to support Stryker
IS standards, data privacy, and other regulatory requirements as appropriate
· Troubleshoot
technical issues and develop timely solutions, providing excellent customer support
and service
· Assist
in the deployment of solutions in scope across all applicable Stryker divisions
and sites
· Provide
ongoing technical support for this system including but not limited to:
recommend and assist with upgrades, diagnose and escalate issues to software
vendors
· Ensure
all changes implemented for this solution are properly executed according to
all applicable procedures governing software development and support activities
at Stryker. This includes but is not limited to: software installations,
changes, documentation, testing, code promotions, etc.
· Utilize
programming experience for application development
Qualifications & Experience:
· Minimum
of 3 to 7 years of professional
programming/application development experience
- Minimum of 2+ years of working experience in the
manufacturing environment especially with hands on experience for MES/Shop
floor system – Dassault APRISO MES implementation,
configuration and support experience required
- Experience in Process Builder
Application development on Apriso
Flexnet process builder 9.7
- Experience with other Apriso tools
like GPM, Schema builder, localization manager
- Experience with Dassault APRISO 9.7 or
2016 preferred
- SQL database and PL/SQL experience is a plus
- MS technologies (MSSQL, .NET, IIS) experience
- Knowledge of J2EE technologies, VB.Net, Excel VBA, Macro and other
programming language is an added advantage
· Strong
understanding and experience working in a regulated environment strongly
preferred
