• Experience in software analysis, design, development, deployment and integration of Client/Server and web based n-tier architecture systems
• Understand the business requirements from the customer / stake holders and convert them to technical design.
• Writing enterprise application architecture specifications and assisting with build of walk-through prototypes.
• Experienced in all facets of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from requirements gathering, requirements analysis and translating business requirements to design specifications including testing.
• Extensive experience in developing web applications using Java/J2EE technologies like Servlets, JSP, Struts, Spring, JSF, EJB, JMS.
• Extensive experience in developing Eclipse plugin , Rich client using RCP,SWT,JFACE.
• Should have extensively worked on Eclipse technology OSGI , GEF , EMF,RCP.
• Should have extensively worked on Object Oriented Analysis and Design & strong in using UML to generate use cases, class, sequence and state diagrams.
• Strong experience in developing web applications with MVC architecture using Struts, JSF and Spring MVC framework, hibernate and various design Patterns of J2EE like Data Access Object(DAO),Factory Pattern , Memento, State etc.
• Should have worked extensively on Presentation and Business Logic layers of applications using J2EE technologies.
• Experienced in build and deployment tools like ANT, Maven.
• Experience on MS SQL Server and MySQL / PostgreSQL.
• Exhaustive experience in developing and deploying applications on Web/Application server – Apache Tomcat, JBoss.
• Mentor and guide team, coach team members based on their development needs.
• Provide good configuration plan and review test cases.
• Make decisions to reduce waste in software development. Keep a close watch on developer’s code, review it to ensure there are no extra features added to the code. Help to develop good coding practice.
