About the Job (3+ experience)
The Customer Enablement Engineering group is looking for QA Engineers to be part of the dev. testing team that would work closely with the developers to test a wide range of applications such as distributed systems, web applications and client side software. The ideal candidate should have a zeal for testing and be proficient at manual as well as automated testing. Experience in creating thorough test plans is essential.
Responsibilities
• Test the wide range of apps that are developed.
• Create and execute test plans/test cases.
• Work closely with the development team to deliver a quality product.
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 3+ years of testing experience (a good mix of Manual and Automation Testing).
• Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work with multiple technologies.
• Strong background of Linux platform.
• Good scripting skills (bash, perl/python).
• Understanding of internet protocols, including IP, HTTP, TCP, DNS.
Desired Qualifications
• Desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, small-team environment.
• Experience with test automation frameworks such as QTP, Selenium.
