Technical Skills –

·         3+ years of managing environments in J2EE area.

·         Superior communication skills both verbal and written.

·         Willingness to work flexible hours - this is critical to ensure deployment activities are done without interfering with the end user's timings. Similarly batch jobs are also typically executed after the daily processing is completed.

·         Strong trouble shooting skills with Internet applications.

·         Financial Services Experience a plus. Should be good at shell scripting, build and ant scripts and have good grip over oracle commands

·         Good understanding of Weblogic deployment processes

·         Basic J2EE skills required including Core Java,   XML, JSP/ Servlets.   EJB, Extended JS, Hands on experience with Java/J2EE to fulfill Build part of our SDLC.

·         Sound knowledge of Oracle - PL SQL with ability to write complex queries. Strong understanding of maintaining high performance internet facing applications.

·         Understand batch jobs and scheduling tools like Autosys.

·         Must have good linux/unix shell scripting knowledge and also have good grip on Oracle commands.

·         Good knowledge of Source control systems like SVN / PVCS.

·         Experience working with on-shore and off-shore resources that are geographically dispersed.
