Sales Operations Manager Job

The primary purpose of the Head of Business Operations Africa is to act as the overall lead for Business Operations, driving with local teams both innovation and execution to further standardize and simplify Sales Processes across the regions. The main focus is to support the sales line of business in the development of sales strategy and planning, demand - and deal management, forecasting, and field productivity. The Head works with the regional team with a local presence, which delivers Business Operations Services into the regions. He/she will strategize, plan and execute objectives of driving Business Operations improving customer satisfaction and to further optimize, standardize and simplify Business Operations to align all different disciplines and drive excellence to further optimize and integrate supportive tools for the Field.
 
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
 Provides leadership, team development, coaching and engages deeply in planning, development, and deployment of Business Operations strategy for Africa.
 Understands market variances while aligning Business Operations priorities and field priorities.
 Optimize and explore Planning, Demand Management, Deal Management, Forecasting and Field Productivity processes to simplify and standardize sales processes within the organization. Take full ownership and actively drive the Sales Franchise process.
 
  Change management initiatives and suggests enhancements to existing programs.
 
   Builds action plans and makes operational decisions on policies, tactics, resources critical to the function's business success to ensure delivery against strategy of the function or team
 
 Accountable for annual goals established for team and department
 
Excellent business and commercial acumen – strong strategic agility
 
Excellent English communications skills and highly developed interpersonal skills and strong ability to work collaboratively across the organization and obtain positive visibility and credibility quicklyAble to quickly understand the business, take ownership and develop and execute a strategy with the team that positively transforms the business and drives operational excellence and increased revenues. Individual who champions change and leads by example through business change initiatives.
Plan and execute engagement process for adoption of global, regional and local interaction for best practice adoption.
Plan and align enablement processes for standardized application, tools and methodology roll out and ramp up.
Create the future; build a team; develop people; manage performance. Provides coaching to team members inside and outside one’s own department as required. Networks with peers, senior executives.
 Education 
 Bachelor’s University degree or comparable experience, MBA preferred
 Work Experience
10 years professional working experience, of which 8+ in business operations or related area and preferable Sales experience.
 Prior people management experience of small team.
 Knowledge of IT Sales Product/Services portfolio.
 Experience in working together with Senior Management
Experience in other industries or departments is an advantage
Track record of focusing and driving key company priorities, resolving conflicts and guiding teams
