Position Title: Web UI Developer
Job Description:
Education: Minimum of Bachelors
Experience: 4 to 7 years
We are one of the leaders in Wireless LAN space. We are looking for a talented JavaScript/DHTML/XML developer who is enthusiastic, energetic and has solid experience.
• responsible for taking ownership of management web interface using object-oriented JavaScript, various JavaScript libraries, HTML, and CSS
• Translate designs and style guides into functional user interfaces, ensuring cross browser compatibility, performance and robustness.
• Assume full control of HTML/CSS, maintaining code organization and cleanliness that support an array of web browsers (Safari; Chrome; Firefox; Internet Explorer) using the latest web standards and best practices
• Perform complete unit-testing.
• The candidate will be responsible for supporting the existing infrastructure as well as develop new technologies.
• The candidate must display excellent written and oral skills with demonstrated interpersonal and organization abilities. A candidate for this position must be able to work in a varied, fast paced environment.
Required Knowledge / Skills and Abilities:
• Well versed in Web.2.0 technologies like html, javascript, css, AJAX, xml.
• Javascript: master the object oriented aspect of javascript and should be aware of JSON.
• DHTML: can handcode pages with dynamic displayable components.
• XML: define/design XML given a problem and able to parsing and traversing the XML programmatically
• CSS: capability to define/design flexible, reusable styles as per given mockups
. Jquery: able to deploy existing and define new and reusable jquery components
Pluses:
- Fundamentals of networking
- Understanding of Wireless LAN would be a BIGGG plus
