Roles & Responsibilities:
Design, develop and implement comprehensive QA test plans and test cases, tools and infrastructure for assigned project
Be responsible for the testing of mobile applications on different mobile platforms i.e. iOS, Android, Symbian
Be responsible for the testing of web applications on different platforms and browsers i.e. Windows, Mac, Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Internet Explorer
Perform all aspects of verification, including Functional, Regression, Stability, Stress, and System testing
Run regression tests and perform Black Box testing against build releases of the application
Perform both manual and automation tests. Plan, design and enhance automation test
Design, develop and implement complex test automation both at the Functional and System level
Document, troubleshoot and isolate problems encountered during testing
Investigate testing failures and client feedbacks, and perform Root Cause Analysis and create detailed, high-quality error reports
Work with other members of the QA team to improve processes, tools, methods, effectiveness and efficiency
Participate in application and feature design/enhancement/improvement suggestions with Developers/Project Manager.
Promote a culture of quality throughout the organization.
Desired Skills:
A minimum of 6-8 years cumulative experience of mobile and web testing
A strong technical background coupled with in-depth experience testing under Linux/Unix.
Extensive background in QA methodologies and experience developing and executing comprehensive test suites for Mobile Apps.
Ability to troubleshoot software / hardware configuration problems.
Demonstrated ability to handle/organize multiple complex technical projects simultaneously and use bug tracking systems
