Position Summary:
Thisposition is responsible for sales distribution including customer service,sales and purchase order management, inventory management, demand forecast,parts planning, retrofit planning and monitoring, procurement.
Roles &Responsibilities:
Ø MainSupply Chain responsibilities consist in but are not limited to: demand forecast,inventory optimization, on-time delivery internally and to external Customers,parts procurement, cost management and optimization.
Ø EnsureMaterial fulfillment supports financial performance, Revenue, Cost, Profit.
Ø Monitorsupplier performance and identify root cause in meeting performanceexpectation.
Ø Fullownership of inventory level in the region with monthly reporting and actionplan to meet yearly targets.
Ø Responsibleof all material management processes related to Company Rails supply chains.
Ø EnsureCreation and maintenance of purchase orders and sales orders including accuracyof requested and acknowledged dates up to the completion of the deliveries.
Ø Collaboratewith Sales and Marketing to Sales Forecast, Distribution Revenue and CustomerSatisfaction.
Ø Develop,create and/or maintain an opportunity analysis to evaluate new material andvendor opportunities.
Ø Reportvendor performance to commitment for all material. Identify performance shortfalls and issue recommendation to fix potential issues.
Ø Maintaina root cause analysis report that measures the gaps between materialavailability to customer commitments. Identify actions and escalation requirementsnecessary to fix and improve performance.
Ø Reportbacklog levels with risk and opportunities with list of units to be expeditedfrom central supply chains.
Ø Reportstock levels, measuring inventory performance to budget. Identify risk andopportunities for stock increase and shortages impacting business support, cashin and cash out.
Ø Communicatesales opportunities and collaborate with Sales and Marketing on customerproposals to drive revenues.
Ø Participateto the Sales Goal reviews with Sales and Marketing
Ø Collaboratewith central supply chain and the other regions to build up a joint planningfor all materials managed with a forecast, and to ensure part availability inthe Americas region to support the business goals.
Ø Closecollaboration with Finance on appropriate inventory reserves, cycle countingprocesses and results, and write-off scenarios.
Ø Monitorsand evaluates the activities of the department employees, while providingcoaching, motivation, guidance and training to ensure operational efficiencyand adherence to company policies and procedures.
Ø Isavailable and regularly seeking input from the team to improve existingprocesses and innovate to improve performance, responsiveness, and velocity ofbusiness. Leads by example.
Ø Supportsmanagement decisions and communicates philosophy behind decisions to thedepartment.
Ø Ensuresthe completion of Performance evaluations and timesheets for all departmentpersonnel.
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Education/Training/Work Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; MBA preferred.
Minimum of 10+ years in a position with significantmanagement responsibilities.
Knowledge of Rails / Heavy Engineering / Heavy Machines and/ or support business preferred.
Specialized Knowledge & Skills

Strong communication, leadership and management skills
Strong Ability in customer relation management
