Job Title: Robotics Research Internship opportunities for MS students
Job Description:
The
Robotics Team (http://robotics.boschresearch.com)
is looking for outstanding Masters and PhD level interns to
tackle various projects within our research group. We are part of the
Personal Robot 2 (PR2) Beta Program, a project that partners
Bosch with Willow Garage, Inc., and leading universities such as
Stanford University,
University of California Berkeley,
Massachusetts Institute of
Technology and others. Engaging in cutting-edge and open source robotics
research, we are enabling new applications, reducing the cost and
improving the
PR2's safety through work in four areas: shared autonomy (human
assistance);
remote experimentation; affordable sensing; and exploring new
applications for
personal service robots.
We actively
participate in the ROS open source community and we publish our results openly
to everyone (http://www.ros.org/wiki/bosch-ros-pkg).
Also your work will be highly visible and fully open, just like the rest of our
ROS contributions. We strongly encourage our research interns to submit their
results to relevant academic conferences.
