1) Q/A Engineer.Senior. Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications   * Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience * 4-6 years of software quality and/or development engineering experience overall * 3+ years of experience in Server-side SQA and scripts/test automation development Engineering experience * 3+ years of hands-on experience with UNIX/Linux Operating System * 3+ years of hands-on networking experience including HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP Networking Protocols * Good to have – Media Streaming knowledge * Strong Analytical Skills, attention to detail and Excellent Problem Solving/troubleshooting skills   Desired Qualifications   * Education: Master’s Degree or greater in Computer Science * Excellent Oral and Written Communications Skills * Knowledge of/experience with IPv6 and IPv4/IPv6 dual-stack a strong plus * Highly driven, positive attitude, team player, self-motivated and very flexible * Experience with Linux internals, large-scale/distributed Systems testing * Perl/Object Oriented Perl programming and/or shell scripting skills is a great plus 2) Q/A Engineer.Senior. Basic Qualifications   * Education: BS degree in computer science, related field, or equivalent experience * Overall Experience: * Experience in software testing and verification using Perl and/or Python, and other unix shell languages like bash, sh, csh. * 5+ years experience working in a Linux/Unix environment * Experience with web technologies, browsers, and servers (Apache, tomcat) * No SQL DB experience using CouchDB and/or Big Couch * Experience with distributed networked storage systems * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Meticulous attention to detail and excellent debugging/troubleshooting skills * Ability and passion to maintain high quality standards, be self-motivated, a fast learner, and able to work independently   Desired Qualifications   * Knowledge of scripting languages like Perl and Python, shell scripting, and command line tools * Experience identifying/formulating test cases and building automated test frameworks * Experience with software configuration management/revision control systems (Perforce, CVS) * Experience programming automation harnesses in Perl and Python * Experience testing SOAP / REST based API interfaces * Experience with highly distributed systems * Hands-on networking experience including HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP Networking Protocols   Please send your resumes to jakkalko@akamai.com
