About the Job
A Manager and senior-level contributor, able to lead a team of Oracle database and Oracle E-Business Suite developers.  Candidate will possess strong communication skills needed to translate complex business requirements into technical design, implementation and deployment packages.  Qualified candidates will be well versed in all phases of the SDLC and are adept at playing multiple roles.  Candidates should be comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.
 
About the Team
 
Corporate Systems team designs, develops and supports the business application solutions that underpins all financial and HR processes at Akamai. The teams focus is to increase the efficiency and transparency of these areas of business while maintaining enterprise class reliability. The teams constantly evolving technology stack includes Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Fusion Applications, Oracle Business Intelligence Applications, Successfactors, Informatica and stack of custom software solutions. The team consists of high-caliber engineers, business systems analysts, Project Managers and application administrators.
 
Responsibilities
*        Manage a team of Oracle E-Business Suite developers with a particular focus on the Oracle HRMS module. Candidate should have solid technical and functional knowledge on the Oracle HRMS module.
*        Ensure compliance with the corporate  Software Development Life Cycle framework while providing significant contributions in design and deliverable definition.
*        Mentor junior level developers by assisting them with design, helping them execute on their deliverables and providing feedback and guidance on their work
*        Review technical designs to confirm business requirements have been met.
*        Prepare and collect appropriate documentation regarding Unit and System tests as well as any other Sarbanes-Oxley related evidence.
*        Communicate project status and escalate issues to management as needed.
*        Lead teams in facilitated sessions to understand requirements or root cause of systems issues.
Qualification
Basic Qualification
 
*        Overall Experience: 8 – 12 Years.
*        Required: Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
*        Required: Direct development experience in Oracle E-Business Suite 11.5.10 or later.
*        Required: 5+ years of experience in Oracle E-Business development and Oracle database development for Unix.
*        Experience designing and implementing highly transactional systems efficiently and effectively. 
*        Ability to quickly and effectively troubleshoot problems.
*        5+ years Developing extensions and supporting  Oracle HRMS modules.
*        5+ years leading software development teams.
*        Required: Strong Pl/Sql experience.
*        Experience developing extensions and customizations using OA Framework.
*        Required: Experience working with HRMS APIs and should be an expert level resource on them.
*        Desired to  have working knowledge on maintaining and creating views for the ADP application.
*        Must be fully conversant with  objects in the Oracle HRMS schema and the relationships between them and should be able to map HRMS business processes to the underlying tables. Will be working closely with the data warehouse to provide solution for HRMS information requirements requested of the data warehouse group.
